LINDA RANČÁKOVÁ
Choreographer, dance teacher
Linda works in the Czech Republic and abroad. She studied Modern and Modern Jazz techniques at the Calabria Artedanza "Broadway In Tropea" workshops in Calabria under the guidance of dance instructors from the Broadway Dance Center in N.Y.C. She has collaborated with Keira Knightley, Jason Clarke and other actors she has mentored in film choreography, with choreographers such as Michael Rooney, Michael Nunn, William Trevitt, Mia Michaels, Kristian Cellini, and others, and with renowned directors such as Ridley Scott, Tarsem Singh,Wi mWendersMI-ZOandothers.
Linda is the author of countless choreographies for TV, alternative projects and theatres (Project S.O.U.L., Gaze Out, the original "sitespecifique" project Comm.UNI.ty and f.EMMA in collaboration with Vendula Poznarova).She created choreographies for the musicals "Adele has not yet had her dinner" (directed by Radek Balas), "The Pied Piper" (directed by Mirjam Landa).She collaborated with director Adéla Laštovková Stodolová on the performances "1000 Faces of Adina Mandlová" and the successful projects "Werich", "Marta" and "Midsummer Night's Dream" and "LAND 0".
She is a sought-after choreographer and lecturer for music videos, commercials and films.
She is currently preparing another musical "The Secret" for the Kalich Theatre (directed by Mirjam Landa). She is a long time collaborator with Losers New Cirque Company and other artists.
